Pastor Jeremy Charles, affectionately known as "Pastor J",  is the lead pastor and founder of One Place Church. A passionate GRACE teacher, Pastor J's life is a testament of God's unearned and undeserved favor. He is a true disciple of God's Word and a gifted teacher with the uncanny ability to make the Word simple and practical. Pastor J's teaching style is direct and hits the heart of the matter while also eliciting humor and transparent reflections of personal struggles on his path to salvation.

Pastor J believes anyone can be transformed by the Word of God. His journey in Christ has afforded him opportunities to serve in multiple capacities of helps ministries, youth leadership, and outreach before accepting the assignment of a pastor. A father to 3 and a "pawpaw" to 2, Pastor J is an advocate for family restoration and dedication to serving Christ collectively.  He is a proud alumnus of NC A&T State University and the University of Miami where he obtained a BS degree in Marketing and an MS in Sports Management, respectively.
